Terms of Service
Terms of Service
By using the services provided by Ceramic Studio Soil, customers are deemed to have read and agreed to these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”).
About the Pottery Experience
-
As each piece is handmade, variations in shape, size, colour and finish are to be expected.
-
Due to the nature of clay, glazes and the firing process, imperfections such as warping, shrinkage, uneven colouring, glaze runs, small chips and pinholes may occur. These are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics, and we kindly ask for your understanding.
Firing and Collection of Finished Pieces
-
The experience fee includes the firing of one finished piece.
-
Additional pieces will incur separate firing and processing fees based on their size.
-
Finished pieces are generally ready within approximately 4–8 weeks. However, this may vary depending on kiln availability and other circumstances.
Delivery
-
If you wish to have your finished pieces delivered, we will arrange shipping using the method designated by the studio.
-
Any damage occurring during delivery will be handled in accordance with the terms and conditions of the shipping provider used by the studio.
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviour is not permitted:
-
Harassment or disruptive behaviour towards other customers or staff.
-
Any actions that cause significant damage to studio equipment, pottery or furnishings.
-
Failure to follow instructions given by studio staff.
If any of the above occurs, we reserve the right to terminate the experience.
Disclaimer
-
Ceramic Studio Soil cannot accept responsibility for minor injuries or stains to clothing that may occur during the pottery experience.
-
Experiences may be cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, including natural disasters or equipment failure.
