手びねり体験 / Handbuilding class

Service Description

n this hand-building pottery session, you’ll shape clay entirely by hand, without using a pottery wheel. Take your time exploring the clay at your own pace, stretching, shaping, and building it into something uniquely yours. Rather than intervening more than necessary, our instructor encourages you to trust your own instincts and follow your own creative ideas as you bring each piece to life. You can create not only plates and mugs with handles, but also animals, decorative objects, incense holders, vases, and other free-form pieces that are difficult to make on a pottery wheel. Depending on the size and design of your pieces, you will generally make one item, although you may be able to create two or three smaller pieces. · Firing and clear glazing for one piece are included in the experience fee. Additional firing fees apply from the second piece onwards. · Other glaze colours are available for an additional ¥1,800. The shapes that emerge from your hands, the marks of your fingers, and even the little imperfections all become part of your creation. Enjoy the freedom of working with clay and creating something truly your own.
